Groningen Designs 2021 started this week with an exciting design pressure cooker about climate adaptation. In a short period of time six designers, together with six entrepreneurs, exchanged and explored all kinds of ideas for natural sun protection, greening and rainwater collection.
The participants this year are: Laif & Nuver + Wieke Alberts, Stadscafe Pronk + Ditmar van Dam,
Toet + Carolijn Slottje, Antiquariaat Berger en de Vries + Tomm Velthuis and for the Zwanestraat
Diezijner and Salsashop + Zhenni Tian, Celine Tigelaar.
In the coming weeks, the designers will work with the ideas they developed during the session. They work with material from the recycling center. Soon we will introduce them to you one by one!
